D is for Dangerous is the fourth episode of season 2, and the thirtieth episode overall of the TV series.

Plot[]

W.I.T.C.H.'s new foe, Nerissa, created beings known as Annihilators, and sent them on a rampage in Meridian, while Elyon was on Earth.

Will used her power over quintessence in the form of lightning to defeat the Annihilators. Meanwhile Matt began training with the help of Caleb, to become more useful.

In the B-story, Mr. Huggles escaped from the cage and created a chaos on restaurant. Thanks to that, Hay Lin gave Mr. Huggles to Taranee, but Taranee's father has an allergy to fur.

Taranee gave Mr. Huggles to Cornelia. Lilian freed Mr. Huggles to meet Napoleon, but both pets were making chaos. Cornelia gave Mr. Huggles to Elyon, but Mr. Huggles escaped again and returns to Matt who admitted he lives dangerously.

Behind the scenes[]

Trivia[]

  • Every second-season episode has a clear focus on one of the five main characters. This episode is one of 9 in the season to focus on Will Vandom.
  • This episode marks the first appearances of Lionel Cook and Theresa Cook.
  • Will finally developed her own elemental ability over quintessence, the fifth element, but she does not know it is called that until K is for Knowledge, nor that it was the power that had belonged to the nymph Xin Jing.
  • When Will commentted on Matt and Caleb's new friendship, Taranee read out "XY plus XY" as the next math question she was helping Will with. This may be a reference to the male twenty-third chromosomes (females would be XX).
