Enchanted Music is the second novel in the W.I.T.C.H. Adventures series, featuring and narrated by Irma Lair. It was written by Lene Kaaberbøl and first published in Denmark in 2002. An English version was published in 2004 by Hyperion Books for Children.[1]

Synopsis[]

When Irma falls for the mysterious guitarist in a hot new band, she's in for some out-of-this-world trouble. Following her heart, Irma is determined to find out the real story behind her mesmerizing crush.

However, overnight every teenager in Heatherfield has acquired a Brimstone haircut, a Brimstone jacket, or a Brimstone poster. Some wander around, zombie-like, deaf to anything but the Brimstone tunes they are humming. This is more than the usual teenage craze. Something is wrong, and Irma is in no doubt: this is a matter for W.I.T.C.H. alone!

Excerpt[]

"Oh", whispered Kara, fully attached of the sound. "He can sing too..."

It was their lead guitarist. I sat and stared on the screen and couldn't take my eyes of him for a second. He wasn't specifically handsome. His hair was medium brown and long in a outdated way. His face was narrowly and his body was a bit thin. But the music... fantastic. I had never heard anything like it. I could almost see the place he sang about. Lighten by stars and hopelessly far away.
