Emerald Bird (Polish Szmaragdowy Ptak) is the second novel in the Expedition series. It was written by Polish author Ewa Karwan-Jastrzębska under the pen name Eva Carvani and has illustrations by Daniela Vetro, Paolo Campinoti and Mara Damiani. It was first published in Poland in 2008 by Egmont.
The students of Sheffield Institute are going on a fantastic journey to Zazu, a small village in the middle of the jungle, which hosts an annual celebration of the Living Water.
