I is for Illusion is the 9th episode of the Second Season and the 35th episode overall of W.I.T.C.H. It first aired August 9, 2006.
Summary
The girls go on a vacation with Irma's family, and the girls had a bit of a rough time there, but they manage to cope with it, until Nerissa shows up and begins spreading distrust among them. Nerissa successfully frames Will as applying her power of quintessence into inanimate objects.
Later on, one of the objects moved outside their residence and the gang starts arguing. Suddenly, "The Oracle" appears claiming to want to reclaim their powers because of distrust and absence of harmony and demanding that Will hands over the Heart of Kandrakar.
Forutnatily Hay Lin notices that the Orcale has a different shadow it's "The Old Hag!\ This prompts the Guardians to transform and a battle ensues with Caleb and Blunk from Meridian to help out, and victory went to the Guardians as they defeat the inanmitate objects brought to life and restore their bond as friends and their group harmony
In the B-story, Caleb and Blunk are fighting with the other Knights of Vengeance.
Trivia
- This episode bares similarities with issue #16 of the comics, with the W.I.T.C.H. girls going on vacation and having it ruined by Nerissa's evil acts.
- The part where Will almost gives Nerissa (disguised as the Oracle) the Heart of Kandrakar is similar to an event that occurred in issue #20 where Will actually does give Nerissa (disguised as Matt) the Heart of Kandrakar.
- All of the girls seem annoyed and surprised that Hay Lin snores in her sleep. This is NOT their first sleepover, they should have already known this.
- Irma continues to stays at the same house on Vacation in the fowllowing episdoe as Blunk folds to her to help defeat phobos.
