Queen of the Night (Swedish Nattens Drottning) is a novel set in the W.I.T.C.H. universe. It was written by Maud Mangold and, to date, does not have an English translation.
Will is feeling tired and bored. The days are the same, one thing that is a little exciting is the new cactus, the Queen of the Night. It only blooms one night each twelfth year, which is soon.
But like that's not enough, it seems like the flower blooms has a message for her. W.I.T.C.H. is needed in a world full of islands. Each island is different and is inhabited by different creatures and cultures. What one population needs, can bring chaos to someone else.
Excerpt from the book
A weak creak made her turn around and look at the flower. It had changed positions! At first, the flower was pointing upward, but now it was pointing at Will! Like it was looking at her. Will nervously stared back. The flower had a weird smell that made her head spin. What does it want?
- The flower from the novel, Queen of the Night, is based on the flower Epiphyllum oxypetalum. This flower is also known as Queen (or Princess) of the Night and Dutchman's pipe cactus.
