Message Misunderstandings (Italian Commedia degli equivoci, literally Comedy of Misunderstandings) is the first Mini Special issue from the series Small Magical Secrets. It was first published in June 2008 alongside Issue 087: A Cold Magic and is twelve pages long. The script was written by Teresa Radice and the art was by Lucio Leoni.[1]
Synopsis[]
Will and Matt had a text conversation and both thought the other stood them up on their date.
Plot[]
Will was in her room, getting ready for her date with Matt and sent a text to tell Irma that she couldn't meet the girls tonight as she had a date. Meanwhile, Matt was getting ready for their date in his room and was excited about an evening alone with Will, but not about the movie they were going to see. He received a text from Will which said she couldn't come. He tried to call her to see what had happened to Will but her phone was off, because, at the movie theatre, Will had turned off her phone so she wouldn't forget to turn it off for the movie. Because of this, Will and Matt both thought the other had stood them up on their date.
Outside of the HTV building, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and Hay Lin, with their large banner, wondered why Will didn't show up as usually she would tell them if couldn't make it. To Help find out what happened to Will, Matt called Irma who told him that she was meant to be with them and invited him along too so Matt left to try and find Will.
At the movie theatre, Will saw Matt on TV with VJ Cindy and though he had stood her up to see Cindy, but Matt actually wanted to get her attention to find her. Meanwhile, at the movie theatre the star Paul Simonon was there to promote his new movie and picked Will to be on camera. When Matt and the girls saw this on TV, they were surprised to see her.
After Will left the Movie Theatre, she turned her phone back on and listened to Matt's voicemail and realised her mistake - she had texted Matt instead of Irma that she couldn't make it. She texted Matt to apologise and schedule a new date for tomorrow.
